Love and Relationship

Anonymous asked this question on 12/9/2000:
I have not been very good at picking the right man for myself and my boys. I have just come out of a four year relationship that has left me and my boys emotionally and financially broke. Enter this wonderful man that I have pursued for the last couple of months. We are great friends and lovers. I am considering moving in to his rental right underneath where he lives. Financially it is good for both of us but I do not want this living arrangement to put undo stress on our relationship. One good thing that we both agree that live together is not what either one of us wants right now. We both agreed to let each other have their private time. What does the Tarot say about this relationship?

Dear Anonymous,
Thank you for your patience. Now let's see what those cards have to say. The following cards appear for you:

Your first card is the Six of Cups. The Cups are the suit of love and romance and the Six holds two meanings. It refers to the past, the effect and the power of the past while at the same time it says the first precarious steps are being taken on a new road to happiness.

Your second card is the Three of Cups, again the suit of love and romance. The Three promises a favorable outcome in any situation. It refers to a healing as well as a new love affair. It is also a card of good cheer, indicating hospitality, gladness, and sensual enjoyment.

Your third card is the Sun. The Sun is a major arcana card signifying success but more than this it is a card of growth. Its appearance in response to a question such as yours defines a relationship with great potential for growth.

According to the cards the decision you have made to take this new romance slowly is a very wise decision. The Six says you are still reeling from that last relationship. The Three says this "transition time", this arrangement of freedom for both of you, yet while being near to one another, is going to work. In fact, it may be the exact move that allows you and your new man to get to know each other under favorable circumstances. And living separately gives your boys their "own home". Also a wise move. The Tarot shows two very intelligent adults approaching a romance that, according to the sun, can do nothing but grow. Congratulations to both of you.

The best to you,
Sakara
