Anonymous asked this question on 1/18/2001: Hello Sakara, I'm a female Leo, 21 Aug 61, my male friend is a Taurus, 5 May 60. I would like to know if this new relationship could turn into a serious love match or just a good friendship? Thank you in advance.
Sakara gave this response on 1/20/2001: Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your patience. Now let's see what those cards have to say. The following cards appear for you:
Your first card is The Chariot. The esoteric meaning of The Chariot is that your life is the chariot and you are the charioteer. Only you hold the reins. You drive two horses, one horse named Desire, the other named Will and you can drive this chariot any place you want.
Your second card is the Ten of Cups. The Cups are the suit of love and romance and the Ten is essentially known as the Marriage Card. It stands for love which is more than physical, family and domestic tranquility, the happiness of friends, peace of mind, an end to struggles, and the quiet waters of contented achievement.
Your third card is The Sun. The Sun is a powerful major arcana card that signifies success but more than this it signifies growth. When it appears in regard to romance it indicates a relationship with a great potential for growth.
The cards have pretty much said it all. I would add this: The appearance of The Chariot at the onset of your read indicates that you may be the one who needs to take control in this new romance. There's a good chance your male friend is more insecure and unsure of himself than you realize. On the basis of this, assume nothing, for you could missinterpret his message. This relationship has a great potential, start with direct communication right now.
The best to you, Sakara
Reply: For me just giving you our b-days, you have hit this relationship right on the head. You are correct, he is a little bit insecure and I probably made him feel worst on our first date. He made a sexual advance and I turned him down cold. He's been gun shy ever since. I've been trying to tell him that I'm interested but need a little time. I guess I didn't do a good job of expressing myself. Maybe I'll send him an e-mail to express how much I really care about him. Thanks again.
