In my opinion the drapes should not be opened too wide, at least not in the beginning. Too much light can be blinding as well as deceiving. I would recommend an easy, neutral beginning. Offer to take this woman to a public place, something you have in common, a mutual interest. A good discussion is a great opener. As to your opening those drapes to life in general, again they need not be opened wide. Awareness is always the beginning. I know how compelling it is to live within but this opening of the blinds can come naturally. It is not an intellectual process. Just relax and enjoy yourself. Do not sit in judgment of yourself. Don't think. Enjoying yourself, having fun, laughter, these are the magick tools that set you free.
